Mitch Ekstrom is a member of Mid-Atlantic Community Church and volunteers as the Maryland Capitol Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer. He is a retired USCG officer, works as a DoD IT professional and operates a part time business as a financial trainer and coach. He has been married to Cheryl since 1977. They have 3 children, 4 granddaughters and 1 great-granddaughter.

Jennifer Ploegman is a member of Severna Park Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she serves as the 24-hour prayer coordinator and volunteers in multiple other prayer ministries.
